Our best-selling A-Frame Bracket takes the guesswork out of building a DIY swing set. These brackets are the top choice on the market and are made with heavy-duty steel, featuring a solid, one-piece design with welded seams for the strongest and safest construction. Each bracket weighs 10 pounds and is finished in a powder-coated green color with our signature yellow tag.

The open-ended design of the bracket allows for easy installation, with 14 pre-drilled holes for added convenience. Simply slide your wood into the bracket and screw in the lag bolts into the pre-drilled holes – no measuring or cutting necessary. The brackets are specifically designed to accommodate a kiln-dried 4x6 top beam and four 4x4 side support legs, with the bracket openings measuring 3-5/8" x 5-5/8" and 3-5/8" x 3-5/8".

It's important to note that the wood should easily slide into the bracket with a snug fit, and if your boards are too large, it is recommended to plane them down for a comfortable fit. Each bracket is sold individually and includes mounting hardware, and two brackets are required to build an A-Frame play set. When using our brackets to build an A-Frame Swing Set, we recommend using a 114" top beam and four 96" side support legs, resulting in a swing set with finished dimensions of 12'L x 8'D x 7'8"H.
